What banks integrate with Square?

We currently support most U.S. banks. Credit cards, ATM, PayPal, or prepaid bank cards aren’t supported at this time….However, we’ve had strong link success with the following banks to date:

    Can you link a bank account to Square?

    Link your bank account from the Square App Open the menu, and tap Settings > Account > Bank Account > Add Bank Account.

    Can I use Square without a bank account?

    No, Square requires a transactional bank account that allows for transfers and withdrawals (in case of refunds or chargebacks. Prepaid cards or online-only accounts, like PayPal, aren’t supported.

    How does Square verify your bank account?

    To verify your account:

    1. Check your bank account on the next business day.
    2. Look for two small transfers (less than $1.00) on your bank statement.
    3. Visit your Payroll Overview page in your Square Dashboard.
    4. Enter the two amounts into the two fields in the Verify Bank Transfer section.
    5. Click Submit.

    From the app, you can go to “Accounts &Settings” and tap on “Bank Accounts” to link your bank account to Square’s payment platform. Go to the Square website. Square offers a global website as well, for international users. Sign-up for a Square account.

    Can you transfer money from one square account to another?

    Your bank account is non-transactional and we can’t transfer to, and debit from, it. There was a typo entered when you input your bank information.     Where do I Find my routing number on square?
