This relatively expensive, and very fashionable, Tyrolean village has superb après ski and is arguably one of the liveliest resorts in the Alps. The après ski starts on the mountain anytime after lunch and continues well past dinner and long into the night.

There are an abundance of high-end boutiques and hotels, lively bars and wide choice of eclectic restaurants to suit all tastes.

The superb lift system, that is constantly being improved, gives access to the vast terrain. Its nursery slopes are located on the mountain’s sunny snow-sure pistes that easily reached by gondola, making it easier for families to meet up for lunch. Most of the slopes are wide and ideal for intermediates and there is a red run into Switzerland which is perfect for quiet high-speed cruising, however the steep tricky descents to the village should be tackled by the more experienced intermediate skier, especially at the end of the day. There are some genuine black runs and extensive skiing and off-piste for the expert. Its terrain park is considered to be one of the best in Europe.

Off-mountain activities include walking paths, sleigh rides, hiking tours and a floodlit toboggan run.
