Zurs

Zurs is a small village enveloped in the spectacular Arlberg ski domain. The resort thrives on its reputation for the excellent snow until late April. It is a peaceful village, much enjoyed by those who seek an exclusive resort that is preferred by a discerning clientele. Due to its excellent snow record you can enjoy early season skiing from December and then ski through to April.

Located above the resort of Lech, Zurs is considered to be one of Austria’s established ski resorts whose ski lift dates back to 1937.

Zurs is an excellent choice for family skiing, with plenty of wide open runs, particularly on the home slopes. Beginners and Intermediates feel confident on the good snow at high altitude.  Experts will enjoy the marked off piste ‘ski routes’ and the connection with exciting skiing of Lech and St Anton as well as some excellent powder skiing at Stuben (both accessible by a short bus ride) all covered on one ski pass.

The subdued après ski is centred around the hotel bars and restaurants.  The village boasts some of the best restaurants in the Alps and has the added bonus of doorstep skiing.

Heli skiing is available, weather permitting, to access the Schneetali and Mehlsack mountains and is suitable to most levels of skiers.
