Courchevel

Courchevel

Courchevel 1850
The internationally renowned resort of Courchevel offers some of France’s best skiing. This vast ski domain boasts the largest linked area in the world and is the most extensive and varied of the ‘Three Valley’ ski areas.

Of all the ski resorts Courchevel 1850 is closest to the heart of the Parisians café society who just love its hedonistic atmosphere. The resort has an attraction for the rich and famous and offers an abundance of designer boutiques, chic shopping venues and super deluxe hotels. Gourmet cuisine can be found amongst the funky bistros and stylish bars and clubs abound. A free resort shuttle bus circulates frequently throughout the resort until midnight.

This vast area offers a superb diversity of skiing to suit all abilities, from its wide open slopes and tree-lined pistes to its deep terrain, ensuring clients return year after year.

Courchevel’s mountain restaurants, although expensive,  are an experience in themselves where good food can be enjoyed amongst stunning scenery. For the guest who enjoys a more relaxed afternoon, the sun terrace offers a tempting alternative to the piste.

Courchevel 1650
Courchevel 1650 is set slightly apart from the rest of the Three Valleys. Its the pistes are wider and longer than many at 1850 and tend to be more peaceful and less crowded, a luxury during the peak ski holiday dates. There are two lifts into 1850, ensuring that easy access into the Three Valleys is still possible and a day trip into the furthest resort of Val Thorens is well within reach.

There is some extreme off piste skiing from the top of 1650 down to Portetta at the bottom – a wild ride, but worth it. A ten-minute chairlift ride will take you to the Courchevel 1850 ski parks to practice your tricks and take your skiing to the extreme.

Off-mountain activities include an ice-driving circuit, snow shoeing through the trees and tobogganing.
