Grandes Alpes Private Hotel, Courchevel 1850, France
Formerly the Grandes Alpes Hotel the Les Grandes Alpes Private Hotel is an exquisite reawakening! The hotel boasts an enviable ski in – ski out location overlooking the Bellecote piste and is within easy walking distance of the many bars, restaurants and of course the vast array of exclusive boutiques that Courchevel has to offer.
Les Grand Alpes presents a magnificent collection of nine suites of varying sizes and configurations all named after precious stones such as Emerald, Ruby and Jade to emulate the luxury held within. The suites have been individually designed in a plush contemporary style using calming, neutral tones and to ensure all your needs are met, the apartments are fitted not only with professional kitchens, personal wine cellars, fireplaces, TV living rooms, libraries, but ipads have also been installed in every room and every living area. Each suite also has its own dedicated housekeeper, butler and chef on call 24-hours.
However, if you prefer not to take advantage of your own private chef you may prefer to eat à la carte in the superb Le Denali restaurant. Whether dining on the terrace for a spot of lunch or relaxing over dinner you will not fail to be impressed by the gastronomic world of French, Thai and Japanese cuisines, all of course accompanied by a selection of the finest wines, on which the expert Sommelier is only too pleased to advise.
After dinner, the cosy bar has been cleverly designed into relaxing sections where you can sit in front of a log fire in beautiful comfortable sofas – the perfect place for a brandy and coffee before retiring.
And of course no hotel is complete without a Spa and Les Grand Alpes offers the wonderfully relaxing Aqua Marine Spa where you can swim in the tranquil pool area and then indulge yourself with one of the many spa treatments on offer – a perfect end to the perfect day.
The hotel also has an in-house Lacroix Luxury Sports shop offering the ultimate ski hire experience.
