Flachau’s premier hotel the Alpenhof is situated 300m from the centre of town and the main ski lift, with the ski bus stopping just outside the hotel. The hotel has a high standard of contemporary accommodation and excellent service.

The large welcoming reception leads to an attractive bar with plenty of comfortable seating and a roaring fire.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the family suites are of a particularly good size. Complimentary afternoon tea and cake or snack is served in the bar every afternoon.

The restaurant has informal elegance and an excellent menu, as they pride themselves in using local organic produce. As a passionate wine collector and connoisseur, the hotel owner keeps a well-stocked wine cellar full of the finest international wines.

The intimate spa offers a perfect place to relax and recuperate after your day’s skiing.

There is an in-house ski guide (Hermann Maier’s father) who offers a free guided tour of the ski slopes every Wednesday.
